Burns Statue Denver
William Grant Stevenson sculpted a bronze figure of Burns, based to a large extent on his marble figure used for the Kay Park monument in Kilmarnock.
This statue was erected on a pedestal of Colorado granite and Wisconsin sienite in the City Park of Denver and unveiled on 4th July 1904.
Burns Statue Chicago
A replica was subsequently erected in Garfield Park, Chicago on 26th August 1906.
The pedestal of Vermont granite is decorated with bronze panels representing The Cotter, Tam O' Shanter, The Twa Dogs and To a Daisy' (Burns at the plough).
Stevenson's interpretation of Burns was widely acclaimed, and later replicas were erected at -
Burns Statue Fredericton, New Brunswick

Fredericton, New Brunswick (18th October 1906)
The Fredericton statue was erected on Fenety Avenue (now Queen Street) opposite the entrance to the New Brunswick Parliament Building, on The Green, overlooking the St John River.
The Fredericton version has bronze panels showing The Cotter. John Anderson and Burns at the plough, turning up the daisy.

The Milwaukee statue has the panels of The Cotter and The Daisy alone.
Milwaukee Panels
Bronze reductions of this statue were also produced. Thomas Smith and Sons of Edinburgh published statuettes in bronze or silver to commemorate the centenary of 1896 and these were sold in very limited editions.
